GPA = Total Grade Points ÷ Total Credit Hours
Example:
Subject A: Grade A (4.0 points) × 3 credit hours = 12.0
Subject B: Grade B (3.0 points) × 4 credit hours = 12.0
Subject C: Grade A- (3.7 points) × 2 credit hours = 7.4
Total: 31.4 points ÷ 9 credit hours = 3.49 GPA
